Assessment of HANA readiness
Problem: Salling Group is planning their move to SAP HANA and needed to understand the implications of the new column based HANA database on their millions of lines of custom code.
Solution: We installed Gekkobrain for SAP HANA and analyzed their SAP system for HANA issued. We were able to show them exactly how many relevant issues they had and how much time was needed for automatic and manual fix. By filtering for usage and impact, we could see that more than 80% of the suspected issues are irrelevant.
Result: Salling Group now has a clear picture of what is needed in terms of resources and budget, when they start their HANA journey. Also they were so impressed with out findings, that they have now started testing Gekkobrain DevOps for SAP.
