Migration to SAP HANA

Problem: 35,000 custom code issues and a potential project costing 1,200 man days externally and countless internal man days for testing.
Solution: Vestas installed the Gekkobrain for SAP HANA agent on their SAP system, which connected to the Gekkobrain Codefixer running on Google Cloud Platform and quickly eliminated 90% of the issues, because they were false positives, in unused code or had no impact. The Gekkobrain Codefixer automatically fixed all priority 1 issues and 95% of relevant priority 2 issues.
Result: Vestas saved 1,150 external man days and cut down internal resources for testing by 80%.
Reliable SAP Project

Problem: Vestas has had more than 330 developers in total on their SAP system for the past 11 years, and SAP performance suffered from bad custom code. At the same time they were also struggling with too many dumps. Complexity made it more or less impossible to find the code that caused the biggest problems.
Solution: Gekkobrain installed DevOps for SAP and were immediately able to show Vestas all custom code with performance issues. Since we analyze across dependencies, we were able to show exactly which programs needed to be refactored for better performance.
Result: Vestas now has unprecedented clarity about issues, and performance has started to improve. Since Gekkobrain’s tools optimize memory, database usage and CPU, Vestas has also experienced lower server load.
